Under the guise of dealing with a mutual enemy, the witch Ravenas requests the aid of the enigmatic Frenchling in order to set a trap. But there's a deeper motive to Ravenas' request, and the first two pieces find themselves placed on the board. A restless soul who has gone by many names finds herself pulled to the newly formed Silent Island of Crow, where she dubs herself "Ivanova". Here she meets the recently christened Emperor Beluga, and witnesses the arrival of the Lady Syrenna, and the three realize they have a strange connection. Having newly arrived on the Silent Island from Syrenna's Mystical Forest, the young faerie Sally struggles to find her place and power in this strange new land. Disturbed by noises in the night, Syrenna finds that the Island has been invaded by magical strangers, and seeks the aid of the other settlers of this place to drive them off. Viniveer Finds A Home On The Island In carrying out her duties as a forest guardian, Syrenna stumbles across a grieving golden eagle, as well as the ones who put the creature in such a state. Revenge is a dish best served immediately. A sunny day finds the settlers of the Silent Island of Crow attacked by a gelatinous menace with a familiar face, one that harbours an alien grudge. After finding the Emperor unwell, Ivanova ends up in a strange realm full of people she knows, and horrors she cannot stand. Thrown from her dreams into a strange place, a normal girl learns there's more to her classroom daydreams than she ever thought possible. The Egg The Bunny Did Not Leave After a warning from Viniveer, Syrenna drags the Emperor and Ivanova along on a journey to find a new threat to the Island. They discover something that is very much not a chocolate rabbit. A long planned hunt finally comes to fruition, and the warlike Yanna is drawn to the Island by all the chaos. Missing dogs and forest excursions soon become the least of their problems. Waking one morning to find a strange ship moored to their shores, the Islanders meet Queen Quirky and her Lover, refugees from a distant land. They then discover that they brought along some uninvited guests. A look into the past showing how the then Princess Quirky would meet the enigmatic man who would become her Lover. Ivanova recounts the arrivals of two newcomers, Queen Maris and Windy McBlow, and how everyone who has come to the Island seems to have a strange, otherworldly connection. While Syrenna works to make her arsenal even deadlier, the Emperor and Ivanova's antics get a little out of hand. At a bonfire, the Islanders get into fights and gorge themselves on sweet treats. Lady Syrenna and Emperor Beluga join Queen Maris on an underwater excursion to an aquatic nightclub. Syrenna and Maris bear witness to Windy's sleep talking persona, Marvin. An invasion force from Reality makes its ways to the shores of the Silent Island, and the Islanders are thrown into a battle that spans dimensions in order to protect the sanctity of their home. Windy wants in on the fun Syrenna, Yanna, and Ivanova are getting up to, but the three won't let her. She takes matters into her own hands. With the others acting wildly out of character, Yanna sets about getting to the bottom of this mystery. She's under a time limit, however, as the Mystical Forest is looking quite flammable. Despite being made for war, Yanna finds herself kept on her toes by the other residents of the Silent Island, and finds she doesn't hate it. When some play fighting gets out of hand, the four Magical Royalties find themselves in the darkest depths of the Mystical Forest, and Syrenna has to use all her cunning to keep them safe. The Islanders indulge in what is quickly becoming a favourite pastime: fighting one another. After fending off another incursion from Reality, the Islanders desecrate some corpses. With strange phenomena plaguing the Island, the settlers of the Silent Island of Crow discover that the strange connection it has to Reality may very well be its undoing. |
